Break Free. Align with Truth. Live in Flow.

You Are Not Your Bank Account—But Your Business Will Reflect It.

Feb 19, 2025

I want you to take a deep breath and hear this:

Your financial situation does not define your worth.

You are not your debt.

You are not your bank balance.

You are not a failure because you’re struggling financially.

You are a soul on a journey, and right now, you are in a season of learning.

You are being prepared for the success, the impact, and the freedom you desire.

But there’s something I wish someone had told me earlier

Trying to build a business on financial instability will break you.

This is a hard truth, and I say it with love—because I’ve been there.

If you’ve been trying to grow your business while constantly worrying about money… this post is for you.

I’m going to share my raw, personal journey—how I tried (and failed) to build a business while depending on someone else.

I’ll tell you the biggest lesson I learned about financial freedom.

And I’ll give you the exact steps I would take if I had to start all over again.

By the end, you’ll know how to create a stable foundation so your business doesn’t just survive—it thrives.

Let’s get real.

🚀 My Story: Rock Bottom & The Hardest Lesson I Learned

There was a time when I was trying to build a business while depending on my dad’s income.

And here’s what I found:

  Finances were a constant rollercoaster.

Even though I had success, it was unstable.

I couldn’t build a lasting business on shaky financial ground.

I had built two six-figure businesses before—but by the age of 35, I found myself completely broke, living at my parents’ house.

Penny-less.

Stuck in the brutal -30°C Calgary winter, I had to beg my 75-year-old father for gas money just so I could drive to job interviews.

I didn’t even have the money to buy a used winter tire to make the drive safely.

So there I was—35 years old, six-figure business owner turned broke, standing outside Walmart, trying to stop strangers in the freezing cold to sell them electronic gadgets.

Rock bottom.

I know that feeling. I know the shame, the frustration, the hopelessness.

And that’s why I want to share this with you.

Because the moment I learned the principles I’m about to share, I:

Cleared $88,000 of debt.

Generated over $1M in sales.

Funded my own business launch—without financial stress.

And now, I want to show you how to build from a place of power, not desperation.

💡 The Advice I Would Give to My Past Self (And to You)

If I could go back, I’d tell myself:

Master the financial basics first. Know exactly how much money comes in, how much goes out, and build the habits of saving, paying off debt, and planning ahead.

Get a job, even if it’s at Starbucks. Having stable income removes the financial stress, allowing you to create from power, not desperation.

Downgrade your lifestyle. Live below your means, share a place with roommates if needed, cut unnecessary expenses, and build your foundation.

Then, use extra time to build your business. A business grows best when it’s built on stability, integrity, and clear-headed action.

🔥 Your Current Situation Reflects Past Decisions—But Your Future is in Your Hands

Where you are right now is not permanent

It is simply the result of past decisions.

But what you decide TODAY will shape where you are in 6 months, 1 year, or 5 years.

Time moves fast. And the actions you take now will determine if your business will be built on strength or struggle.

So instead of feeling trapped, use this as fuel to take bold, courageous action:

💡 Live below your means.

💡 Find a job that pays your bills.

💡 Start creating financial stability BEFORE scaling your business.

I’ve lived in tight spaces, shared rooms with family members, and faced deep financial struggles.

But all of it prepared me. It taught me patience, financial wisdom, discipline, and resilience.

And looking back, I wouldn’t change a thing.

💡 Final Words: You Are Loved & You Have Everything You Need Within You

I share this because I know how it feels.

To want to grow, to want to create, to want to step into financial and spiritual freedom—but feeling stuck.

And I want you to know:

You are deeply loved.

You are not defined by your bank account.

You have all the tools you need within you.

But if you want to build something lasting, you have to start with the foundation.

Imagine this:

📌 Getting a job that covers all your bills.

📌 Living simply, saving money, and having financial peace.

📌 Building your business with ease—without stress or desperation.

In 3 months, 6 months, a year—your life can be radically different.

And when that moment comes, you will thank yourself for the decisions you make today.
